HP is Taking Desktop Manufacturing Mainstream

Hewlett Packard and Stratasys are setting up to manufacture 3D Printers under the HP brand.  In a Stratasys press release, Stratasys Chairman and CEO Scott Crump says: "We believe the time is right for 3D printing to become mainstream."  Desktop manufacturing is one of the most promising -- and one of the most potentially disruptive -- technologies that are likely to gain a foothold during this decade.
